A conflict is a struggle between two forces. In the book Gone there are several conflicts. One example is when Pete chocked Sam. This is an example of character vs. character which makes it an external conflict. I can predict that this conflict will be resolved when one of them wins. Another possible conflict that could happen in this book Sam vs. Caine. This would make the book interesting because no one will come for them!
