Conflict

A conflict is a struggle between two forces. In the book GONE there are several conflicts. One example is that everyone expects Sam to be a hero. This is an example of character vs. society which makes it an external conflict. The conflict is resolved when Sam wins the Thanksgiving battle. Another conflict that happened in this book is that everyone that is fifteen or older disappears. This made the book interesting because kids are all on their own and a lot is happening in the FAYZ.
