a conflict is a struggle between two forces.In the book gone there are sevrel conflicts.one example is the adults are gone.this is an example of character vs. nature which makes it  an external conflict . I can predict that this conflict will be resolved when the parnets come back another possible conflict that could happen in this book is the coats kids and the other kids get in a fight this would make the book interesting because the kids would fight
