A conflict is a struggle between two forces. in the book GONE there are several conflict. one example is Sam killed a girl. there is an example of. character vs. character which makes it external conflict. I can predict that this conflict will be resolved when he confesses. another possible conflict that could happen in this book is Caine vs. Sam. this would make the book more interesting because it be a big battle.
