A conflict is a struggle between two forces. In the book GONE there are several conflicts. One example is Sam vs. his powers. This is an example of character vs. self which makes it an internal conflict. I can predict that this conflict will be resolved when he tells them he has powers. Another possible conflict that could happen in this book is a shortage of food. This would make the book interesting because they would have to find and make there own food.
