Stages of Plot

The first stage of plot is the exposition. The exposition introduces characters and setting, it also reveals a possible conflict. In The exposition of Catching Fire, Katniss has returned to District 12 and she is not getting long with Peeta or Haymitch . President Snow also visits katniss and threatens her and her family.
The second stage of plot is the rising action . The rising action develops the conflict or struggle. In the rising action of Catching Fire, Katniss and Peeta offered to give money and food to Threashes and Rue's family. President Snow doesn't like that because he doesn't want the districts having some kind of bond this could lead to developing a conflict between the districts and president snow. Katniss is also determined to keep Peeta alive.
The third stage of plot is the climax. The Climax is the point of greatest interest. In the Climax of Catching Fire, Katniss realizes that Johanna is trying to kill her. Also Katniss blows up the whole arena shooting it with her bow and arrow.
 The fourth stage of plot is the falling action. The falling action is when things start to be revealed. In the falling action of Catching Fire Peeta is kidnapped by the Capitol. They're was always a plot to save Katniss from the arena because the Mocking Jay lies Within her.
The final stage of plot is the resolution. The resolution Ties up loose ends. The resolution in the Catching Fire,Katniss finds out their is no District 12 And District 13 does exist.
