Defying the Capitol

In catching fire there are many acts of rebellion. Katniss is the one who does the most acts of defiance against the capital. A act of defiance is when someone goes against authority.

        Katniss did an act of rebellion when she went to do her private session. She got a dummy and pretended that Plutarch was the dummy and that she knew about the death. This was a act of defiance because she wants to show the capital that she is not weak and she will fight to the end.

        Peeta painted a picture of Katniss covering Rue's dead body and then he told the whole world that Katniss was pregnant this is rebellious because president snow wants to kill Katniss but Peeta wants to save Katniss.

         the tributes held hands to present a United front. this is defiant because they are banning together. In there interviews they talked about how president snow is a jerk. This is rebellious because it helps the uprising by turning people against him.

         Cinna did a defiant act by making Katniss dress into a mockingjay but first it was a wedding dress but then it turned to a mockingjay dress. this is a act of rebellious because president snow hates mockingjays because they went against the capital before.

        Katniss act of defiance towards the capital was the most defiant. This is the most defiant because this will cause an uprising between the capital and all the districts.
