Acts of Defiance

An act of defiance is when someone goes against authority. In Catching Fire , we see many acts of defiance , or rebellion against the capitol.
In Katniss’s training session she made a dummy , hung it up , and put Seneca Cranes name on it. This is defiant because she went against the rules.
In Peeta’s  session he painted a picture of Rue. It was defiant because he was holding them against her death.
In their interviews , the tributes blame president Snow for allowing the Quell to happen. This is defiant because they are getting people to rebel against him. At the end of interviews they held hands in unity. This is defiant because they are supposed to appear as enemies.
In Katniss’s interview , it is revealed that Cinna has transformed her wedding dress into a mocking jay .This is defiant because he creates the symbol of rebellion.
In conclusion the most defiant was Katniss because she hung a dummy of an important person and wrote Seneca Cranes name on it .
