Acts of Defiance

An act of defiance is when someone goes against authority. In the catching fire! we see many acts of defiance or rebellion against the capitol.

                In Katnisss private session she hung a dummy with Seneca Crane name on it. It was bad cause no one is safe from the president.

In Peetas private session he drew a picture of Rue because they are responsible for everyone’s death.

                In their interviews, the tributes blame president snow for allowing the quell to happen. This is defiant because they are getting people to rebel against him.

                In Katnisss interview it is revealed that Cinna has transformed her wedding dress into a mocking jay. This is defiant because he creates the symbol of the rebellion

                Blaming President Snow because he’s president he could punish them or whatever it’s like doing something to the principal
