In term 1 we have read a short story , type 3 writing and Hunger Games movie. We have also been learning about story elements. An example of a story element is conflict. A conflict is a struggle between two forces.
In a story you can have internal conflicts and external conflicts.An Internal conflict is a situation the main character has whereas an external conflict is a situation between two charcters. Looking back over what we've read so far , one conflict i remember is Katniss and Peeta were asked to drink a potion that makes them puke so they can eat some more. This is an example of an internal conflict. It was resolved when they were dancing on the dance floor.
In Language Arts class, my greatest academic achievement this term is my assignments. I am proud of myself because Im doing my work. The part i struggle with the most is nothing because i;ve done what i needed to do in class. The plan to improve my learing area is to do all my work.
If you were to ask Miss Lewis what kind of student i am , she would probably say that im a good student I agree with her because im pretty good in class.
