term 1 reflection.

In term one we have learned vocadualry , played a vocabualy game , And how to identify the mood in a story. We have also been learning about story elements. An example of a story element is a conflict. A conflict is a struggle between two forces. in a story you can have internal conflicts and external conflicts. An internal conflict is a character vs self , wheres an external conflict is charcater vs nature. looking back over what we've read so far , one conflict I remember was in the movie the hunger games , katniss had to fight to survive the hunger games. katniss had to fight with other people in the hunger games. This is an example of a character vs character conflict. It was resolved when she won the hunger games with peeta.

In language art class , my greatest academic achivement this term is writing , I really like writing and my goal is to get better at writing. I am proud of myself because I have come a long way with my writing and spelling , and i think that i do a good job in my writing assignments in class. The part I struggle with the most is a little with vocabulary. Because some words I dont know the definition of them right away. The plan to improve my learning in this area is to use vocabualry in my writing , maybe practice some vocabulary.

If you were to ask miss lewis what kind of student I am , she would probably say that i am a good student , and that I always try my best , and that when I dont understand something that i always ask for help or ask questions. I agree with her because I do always try my best , and i ask questions when I need help and I always try my best in my assignments.
