At the banquet it is expected that you eat then throw up and eat some more. Katniss and Peeta don't like the idea of wasting food because in District 12 are starving and in the Capitol they do it for fun. In contrast the people in the Capitol feel that they should have to throw up what they ate and keep eating to have fun at a banquet. They think it's normal and they have never been starving before. It makes Katniss sick that they think it's okay to waste food and they are okay with people in other districts starving to death. Jordan Williams
