GONE conflict

A conflict is a struggle between two forces in the book GONE there are several conflicts. One example is Sam doesn’t want to be the hero. This is an example of a character vs. self which means its an internal conflict. I can predict that this conflict will be resolved when Sam just stops being the hero as much and Caine takes over being hero. Another possible conflict that could happen in this book  is Caine might just stop trying to be hero. This would make the book interesting because Sam would have to step up and be hero again.
