A conflict is a struggle between two forces.  In the book GONE there are several conflicts, one example is Astrid vs. her secret of Sam’s power. This is an example of character vs. self which makes it an internal conflict . I can predict that this conflict will be resolved when Sam tells everyone about his power. Another possible conflict that could happen in this book is the others can get mad about his power. This would make the book interesting because there will be suspence happening.
