A conflict is a struggle between two forces. In the book GONE there are several conflicts. One example is Sam killed the fire starter. This is an example character verses character which makes it an external conflict. I can predict that this conflict will be resolved when he decides to step up. Another possible conflict that could happen in this book is another is character verses character. This would make the book interesting because there would be another fight or war.
