A conflict is a struggle between two forces. In the the GONE there are several conflicts. One example is Quinn is jealous of Edilio. This is an example of character vs character which makes it an external conflict. I can predict that this conflict will be resolved when Sam needs help and they will become friends for Sam later on. Another possible conflict that could happen in this book is Coates fight the townies and bullies. This would make the book interesting because it’s exciting and crazy because they are supposed to work together
