A conflict is a conflict is a struggle between two forces. In the book gone there are several conflicts. One example is when Sam was attached by a little girl. This is an example of character vs. character which makes it external conflict. I can predict that this conflict will be resolved when Sam decides not to feel guilty anymore. Another possible conflict that could happen in this book is another character vs character. This would make the book interesting because there would be a war.
