By the time you are reading this, I am cold dead. You have received me in a wooden box. I had promised to keep Peeta alive in the arena, and I think I did my job.
Little Prim, please be strong for mother. Don't let her crawl up under her covers again and leave you. If she does go straight to Gale's house. Hazel and Gale will take good care of you. If mother comes for you ask her, "Are you going to slip away from me again?". If she takes you home and slips away go back to Gale's without turning back.
Mother, please be strong. Do not slip away from Little Prim. I told her if you do she is to go to Gale's house. Don't slip away from her again! Also, Gale is to bring you food and the baker will also bring food and make sure that you are eating. I am not there to make sure that you are. Do not let Prim near the woods. The fence is on and I can't let her go in there without supervision. I know that you dislike the woods and I can't have you take Prim.
