Defying the Capitol

An act of defiance is when a person goes against authority. In "Catching Fire", we see many acts of defiance or rebellion against the capitol.

Katniss was ting a rope and grabs a dummy and puts the head gamemaker's face on the dummy then she puts rope around the neck and hangs the doll. The reason this is rebellious because she hung the old gamemaker that saved her and peeta.

Peeta was painting a picture of rue. Rue is a girl that was friends with Katniss. This is rebellious because peeta was painting a person that died in the hunger games.

In the interview they interviewed the tributes and they said that president snow didn't have the power because he never changed the rules or end the games. All the tribute held hands to show they were united. These would be considered rebellious acts because they are all turning against snow and showing they are all eneimies.

Cinna was rebellious because he made Katniss's dress in to a mocking jay. this is rebellious because he made the dress in to a mocking jay.

In conclusion Katniss, Peeta, Cinna did alout of rebelious stuff. The worst was Cinna made the dress because it was a mocking jay.
