An act as distance is when someone goes against authority. In the book, Catching Fir , we see many acts as distance or rebellion against the capitol.

        In Katniss training she hung the dummy with Cinna Crans name on it. This is rebellious because that’s not how to treat your government.

        In Peetas interview he said him and katniss were married and were having a baby.

        They held hands and stood unity. This is defiant because they are supposed to be against each other. In their interviews they talk about President Snow not caring and how it’s his fault this is happening. This is an attempt to get people to rebel.

        The tributes because they should be against each other but there standing and supporting each other.
