what i learned in first term

                                     In term 1 we have  learned about the stages of plot and wrote about catching fire.We have also been learning about story elements.An example of  a story element is conflict.A conflict is a struggle between two forces.In a story you can have internal conflicts and external conflicts. An internal conflict is a problem in a characters head whereas an external conflict is a problem between a character and something else. Looking back over what we've read so far , one conflict I remember was between Dana was a bully which he bullied Roy.Roy wanted to catch up with this boy that seemed odd because he had no shoes and really dirty clothes .This is an example of an external conflict.So far the conflict hasn't been resolved.

                                     In language Arts class, greatest academic achievement  this term is improving on my vocab quizzes. Iam proud of myself because i actually listen and try not to get distracted . The part I struggle with the most is studying and focusing because i don't like studding so I procrastinate. The plan to improve my learning in this area is to work on my studding and focusing skills.

                                    If  you were to ask Miss Lewis   what kind of student i am , she would probably say I'm respectful, smart and kind. I agree with her because that's just what i am. Plus I'm a well grounded student.
