In term 1 we have watched the hunger games read tale tall heart read Duffy jacket. we also have been learning story elements. An example of story element is conflict. a conflict is a struggle between two forces. In a story you can have internal conflict and external conflict an example of internal conflict is when it happens inside you were as an external conflict is outside of you.
looking back over what we read so far one conflict i remember was when Katniss fought with clove when she was getting Peeta medicine. this is an example of external conflict it was resolved when thresh got clove off of Katniss and killed clove.
In language arts class my greatest academic achievement this term is my alternate ending to Duffy jacket I am proud of my self because it was hard to think of a different and better ending the part I struggled with most is short answer on test because I have to find what they are asking me the plan to improve my learning in this areas to ask Ms. Lewis for help. if you were to ask Ms. Lewis what kind of student I am she would probably sat I am a good student I agree with her because I do the work I need.
