In term 1 we have been reading catching fire and working on foldables . We also been learning about story elements . An example of a story element is a conflict . A conflict is a problem in a story .
In a story you can have internal conflicts and external conflicts . An internal conflict is a problem with yourself whereas an external conflict is a problem with another character . Looking back over what weve read so far , one conflict i remember was in Tale-Tell Heart when a character didnt like the old mans eye ball . This is an example of an external conflict . It was resloved when he killed the old man .
In Language Art class , my greatest academic achievement this term is my writing assignment . I am pround of myself because i got a good grade and I worked hard . The part I stuggle with the most is knowing what to write because I dont understand it sometimes . The plan to improve my learning in this area is to start coming in after school for help .
If you were to ask Miss Lewis what kind of student I am , she would probably say im a hard working sstudent but I can be a little chatty sometimes . I agree with her because I get my work done but I love talking .
