My Description...

Describe how Gale's attitude about running away with Katniss changes over time. Explain how this change in point of view effects the mood in the story. Cite text evidence to support your response.

Well.. When Katniss suggest him and both of their families run away in the wild together, Gale was very excited and you could tell he wanted to do it at that instant. Until she included Peeta and Haymitch into the equation. He had a very abrupt mood change. This shows how he acted at first , before Katniss said anything about Haymitch and Peeta "Really? You dont think im mad? You'll go with me?" Said Katniss. Then Gale said " I do think you're mad and I'll still go with you,". Then When Katniss Mentioned Haymitch. "Haymitch will be the real challenge." Then Gale's mood changed.."Haymitch?" "You're  not asking him to come with us?" Then Katniss started talking and it says that Gale's scowel cuts her off. About the same reatction when she adds Peeta into the plan. He disliked the idea more than she probably predicted. He competes with Peeta in my opinion and I think he is taking things far because he feels like he will or is losing.
