Contrast how Katniss and Peeta feel about what is expected at the banquet with the way members of the Capitol feel about what is expected. What emotional effect does this difference create? 

It is expected to eat a whole bunch of food, throw up and eat again. Katniss and Peeta think this is a waste of food because they dint have much food to survive. The capital feels like this is something normal to do. Katniss feels that the people of the capital are waste full. Gales attitude changed by wanting to run away in the woods and then he doesn't want to go. This has an effect in the storey by how Gale has gone from happy to sad.
