Chapter 6: Contrast how Katniss and Peeta feel about what is expected at the banquet with the way members of the Capitol feel about what is expected. What emotional effect does this difference create?

At a banquet, it is expected of you to eat and puke and eat again.  Katniss and Peeta feel that once you get full, you full.  Drinking that drink that makes you puke is unnecessary.  Its a waste of good and it shouldn't be done.  The capitol feels like at a party you should eat til you get full, throw it up, then eat more.  They feel this is whats expected at a banquet and if you don't do it, its abnormal and rude.  This creates an emotional effect on how Katniss feels about the capitol.  Now she looks at them differently because there's a bunch of children back at home in district 12 that starve to death everyday.  And people at the capitol throw up just to have the enjoyment of filling their bellies again.

  1. Great job, Autumn.
Read over the first half of your response, you have a couple of parts that don't make sense- look for words you might have possibly left out. You also have some minor punctuation/grammor errors (til vs. until).
